What is more practical and durable - wallpaper or plaster?
Comrades, what material would you recommend for the decoration of the walls in the living room (aka bedroom)? Interested in practicality and durability. I hesitate between the wallpaper with the finished drawing, for painting and decorative plaster.

Nowadays decorative plaster is in fashion, especially people love Venetian. True, it is very difficult to apply, only the master can handle it, but it looks very good on the walls. Under it, and the walls do not have to be particularly aligned, as for painting. The only downside is the price.

What is the area of the room and what is the budget? Do you make repairs yourself or will you hire someone? You don't make a Venetian woman yourself, you need experience. Material is expensive, it will cost you decently. If the wallpaper with a picture, you can pokleit themselves, just take 1 m wide, there will be less joints. There is an intermediate option - you can buy liquid wallpaper, in Moscow they are presented at this office. site.Watch the video lesson, as for me, is quite accessible.

As far as practicality is concerned, they all serve in approximately the same way if the master observes all the technology. For the price - wallpaper for painting is a bit cheaper, but do not forget that the paint for them is worth a lot, if you take a good one, like Tikkurila. Liquid wallpaper comes with color, there are no seams and they are unpretentious in application and operation. The walls under them dub not necessary. What other questions? Py.Sy. I am doing repairs now, I can advise more. Ask.

I think that the plaster, but I like the wallpaper more.
I totally agree with you. Plaster is very reliable if you add quartz sand there. Usually in Kazan I buy this sand here at a bargain price.
