Mikhail Lomonosov became a professor of chemistry at 34 years old. From this point on, it is considered that young Lomonosov began his active scientific work in the field of research of physical phenomena. In 1755, on the initiative of Lomonosov and the state figure Shuvalov, Moscow State University was founded. Two years later, in 1757, Lomonosov became an adviser to the Academic Chancellery. Mikhail Lomonosov died in 1765 in his home from pneumonia. He was buried at Lazarevskoye cemetery.
